Programmer's Digest Magazine

Programmer's Digest album cover Programmer's Digest was an unusual magazine - part print, part audio. Calling itself "Broadcasting's First Audio Publication," It was aimed at radio professionals during the early 1970s. The audio portion contained airchecks, jingles, and so forth, on a normal 12" vinyl LP. Probably too expensive to produce, the magazine ended after only a few years.

Ed and Willard on Programmer's Digest Here, in the December 3 1973 issue, the Joy Boys made the cover. This was during the Joy Boys' days on WWDC radio.

One of the cuts on this LP was Ed introducting Gordon Sinclair's "Canadian Opinion" editorial (MP3, 691K).

You can also find this track on our CD #JB115.
